In the sun at Hannekes Boom or de Waterkant
As soon as the sun shines, we Dutchmen can be found outside as soon as possible, and although the Vondelpark or the Westerpark are certainly fine places for a good picnic, drinking a beer with friends by the water also has a heart-warming atmosphere. De Waterkant is located in a less obvious spot, namely under a parking garage, but because of the hospitality and the delicious multicultural snacks you will not notice the hustle and bustle of the city. Hannekes Boom is also a must in summer and in the evening Hanneke serves a delicious fresh evening menu; a changing combination of tasty fish, vegetarian and meat dishes. Every day is a different season here!
