Instructions for using the kitchen
If you are using the kitchen in your apartment, don’t forget to turn on the extractor fan by pressing the blue button. You turn the cooking plate on by pressing the sensor key, which is the circle with the vertical stripe in it.
A ‘0’ appears on the displays of all cooking plates. Briefly press the key for the cooking plate that you want to use to set the temperature.
The oven in your apartment can also be used as a microwave. If you want to use the microwave function, place the dish in the middle of the oven and select the microwave function with the function selector. Use the dial to set the power, and confirm by pressing OK.
The display will read 00:00 and the triangle will flash. Use the dial to set the cooking time, then press OK again. Please note: when using the microwave function please remove the metal rack from the oven to avoid the risk of fire.
If you want to use the oven function, you should select ‘bake’ (bakken) with the hot air plus function . Then select a power of up to 150W. Another option is to use the oven to grill dishes. Select the ‘Automatic grill’ (Braad-automaat) function.
This gives an initial grilling at a high temperature, and then grilling to cook through at a lower temperature. During the initial grilling phase the oven will first be activated at a high temperature (230˚C). The oven then automatically switches back to the set temperature (grilling to cook temperature).
